[ CLC0031 ]The brass connector has a patent date of Sept. 29, 1868 which is a patent issued to Atterbury for this type of connector between the base and font. The collar appears to have been installed at an angle during manufacturing, but does not hinder the lamps’ operation.

[ CLC0017 ] This lamp is believed to be manufactured by the Central Glass Company. I have not seen another lamp with this design in now, twelve years. VERY RARE! This lamp has an applied handle and has patent dates stamped on the collar of April 19th, 1875 and March 21st, 1876.
